ADVANCED DIGITAL EYE

This is a digital eye examination, where we perform an OCT scan and Retinal photography along with other tests like eye pressure check and visual fields analysis to assess the health of your eyes and to provide accurate detailed vision.
Information from visual fields testing, OCT scan and Retinal Imaging are evaluated using ZEISS FORUM software, to help detect and monitor eye health in the highest possible detail.
This is an 45 minute examination, and we recommend this for all our patients at least every 2 years unless there are any other ocular conditions present as your eye health is our highest priority.
STANDARD EYE EXAM

This is an eye examination but does not include additional test like OCT scan or ZEISS FORUM software assessment
CHILDREN’S EYE EXAM (UNDER 16’s)
NO CHARGE
We recommended all children should have their first sight test by the age of 4 years old. Your child’s first sight test can be performed before they can read, using pictures and other objects to complete the sight test.
Please note: that any children under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by either their parent or guardian.
EMERGENCY EXAM
Private service only: £30
This is an examination of the health of your eyes to determine what your symptoms may be associated with.
We recommend this for sudden onset of symptoms, like flashes & floaters, or sudden reduction in vision, for example.
Tests conducted in this examination will be dependant on your symptoms.
ADVANCED DIGITAL
EYE EXAM WITH
CONTACT LENS EXAM

60 minute examination.
This is an advanced eye examination combined with a contact lens examination.
Please note: We can only perform contact lens examinations on contact lenses that we provide. Please let us know what lenses you currently use when you book your appointment. If it is a product we do not supply, it will be best for you to find a practice which can provide your lenses.
CONTACT LENS
FOLLOW-UP
Private service only: £30
There may be occasions when after completing a full contact lens examination, a patient needs to return so we can confirm either the health of the eye or the prescription of the contact lenses.
DVLA VISUAL FIELDS EXAM

*NHS PATIENTS
Patients entitled to NHS contributions will apply to any one of the following:
- Over 60 years
- Under 16 years
- Under 18 years old in full time education.
- Diagnosed with either Diabetes or Glaucoma.
- If over 40 years old with either a parent, sibling or child diagnosed with Glaucoma.
- Advised by an Ophthalmologist that you are at risk from Glaucoma.
- You or your partner receive Income Support.
- You or your partner receive Income-based Employment & Support Allowance. (Not contribution-based)
- You or your partner receive Pension Credit Guarantee Credit.
- Entitled to a valid HC2 certificate.
- Entitled to a valid HC3 certificate. (Note, with a HC3 certificate, you will be only entitled to partial help, and therefore the charges may differ.)
- Registered as partially sighted or blind.
